Extremely disappointed by Kathy's lack of professionalism. We had some music on and were singing on the balcony and at around 9.30 at night she came over screaming at us saying that we were being loud and that we needed to be quiet, she used abusive language. We apologized and immediately went inside, after which no more complaints were made. The next day she gave us 30 minutes to leave, exagereated the situation claiming people were "terrified" by our noise (which was all just singing) threatened to call the police and when we apologized and offered to apologize to the guests she continued being verbally agressive. She told us she didn't give two f*****g sh**s and that we needed to get the f*** out. We did not appreciate being spoken to in such way, and kicked out without a reasonable explanation- we were always polite. Lucky for us we had fantastic friends who could host us.
Sails on Horseshoe has some interesting information on why Australia is called the land down under?
Australia is known as 'the land Down Under' for its position in the southern hemisphere. The discovery of Australia began when European explorers searched for land under the continent of Asia. Before Australia was discovered, it was known as Terra Australis Incognita the unknown southern land.
